  Great food, good atmosphere. Menu choices to suit everyone . Seating inside or out available. Quick bar service when ordering and food is delivered in a timely manner. Great for a quiet drink or a meal. Good variety of food on the kids' menu. Small dessert menu completes the meal

  Enjoyed lunch at the Commercial yesterday. Had the curry. Beautifully presented and tasted delicious. My friend has the chicken schnitzel and really enjoyed it.
  Lovely old pub and renovated very tastefully.
  Will definitely be back. Oyster Tues looks a go.

  Beautiful freshly renovated old style pub. Excellent vibe and food. The wait staff treat you like you have been comming here for years, the first time you walk in. This has been our local since it opened last year.
  Sitting out back on the grass, having a beer in the sun is a rare treat at pubs these days. Excellent job guys!

  Had lunch today at The Commercial Bar & Kitchen in Midland. Wow what a wonderful surprise. A beautiful bar and amazing kitchen.
  The pub was revamped last May and has a nice welcoming feel, while keeping its old charm. They have done a great job with the renovations. There is a lovely bar area, separate dining room and spacious bar garden/ gazebo area.
  The staff are friendly and very accommodating.
  We ordered market fish of the day which was Cajun snapper fillets served with sweet potato wedges, corn and coleslaw, BBQ
  Pork ribs and the special of the day for $20 which was crispy chicken wings. We also had creme brulee and sticky date pudding for dessert. The meals came out quickly and were delicious. Service was excellent and the we were all very happy with the food serving sizes. There's a great selection of beers on tap and other beverages. This place is a real hidden gem in Midland. There is plenty of parking at the back of the hotel as well as street parking. Nice that the great refurbished vibe of the place matched the food and service! Will definitely be going back!

  Tonight was our 3rd time coming here for dinner. First two were for family parties, but tonight was just us for date night. We have been impressed every time we come.
  
  The staff were very friendly, quick to serve, and quick to deliver the food to the table and clean it once we had finished. Definitely had a family run business vibe, you can tell they are genuine and happy to help.
  
  The food was delicious. We had the Jambalaya with added Garlic Baguette, which paired nicely when extra hungry. We also ordered the Mushroom and Goats Cheese Arancini which was super tasty, even for a non-vego like me. The Oysters were also fresh, and tasty with the mignonette sauce.
  
  It was quiet on a Tuesday night, yay for us, with half price Oysters, amongst other specials for other nights of the week.
  
  Ignore that it’s in Midland, do yourself a favour and just give this place a go. You won’t be disappointed.
